When it comes to hiring a real estate agent in Denver, you’ll have a lot of options to choose from. However, there are three big questions that you should consider before choosing who you work with.
  1. How many years of experience do they have?
  2. How many homes have they sold in the last year?
  3. Are they local to your area and have they sold homes in your neighborhood before?

Do a Deep Clean

If you want to sell your home for top dollar, you can’t sell it as-is. Even if you’ve kept the place in pristine condition, there are always ways to optimize your home and increase buyer appeal. To get your house ready to sell, start with a deep clean. This step isn’t glamorous, but it is important. Scrubbing your house from top to bottom ensures it looks its best on the market. How to Improve Curb Appeal When Selling a House

Cleaning and decluttering are super important – and they don’t just apply to the inside of your home. When a potential buyer arrives to view your home, the first thing they’ll see is the exterior, so if you want to get the best price for your Denver home, you’ll need to improve curb appeal. Of course, making your home’s exterior look great can differ based on the season. Here are my best curb appeal tips for selling your home:
  1. Clean and landscape your front and back yard.
  2. Address any necessary exterior repairs.
  3. Using a power washer, remove dirt and debris from the outside of your home, walkways, and driveways.
  4. In the fall, ensure yards are raked and free of leaves before each showing.
  5. In the winter, ensure walkways and driveways are shoveled, de-iced, and free of snow before each showing.
